ITINERARY
Approx. 4-5 hours from Mombasa/Diani/Watamu
Morning: Early pickup from your beach hotel (6:00-7:00 AM) in Watamu, Diani, Mombasa, or Malindi. Briefing by your safari guide before departing inland via the Mombasa-Nairobi Highway.
Midday: Enter Tsavo East through Bachuma Gate. Commence game drive en route to your lodge, keeping eyes peeled for the famous "Red Elephants" of Tsavodust-bathed giants that glow russet against the arid landscape.
Afternoon: Check-in and lunch at lodge. Relax during the heat of the day.
Evening: 4:00 PM game drive to the Aruba Dam area, a wildlife magnet where lions, buffalo, giraffes, and zebras congregate. The open savannah offers excellent predator spotting opportunities.
