Day 01 :

Nairobi – Maasai Mara National Reserve

Your safari begins with a morning departure from Nairobi, followed by a scenic drive through the beautiful landscapes of the Great Rift Valley.

You will stop at a viewpoint overlooking the valley for photography before continuing toward Maasai Mara National Reserve.

Arrive at your safari lodge or tented camp in time for lunch and relaxation.

In the afternoon, embark on your first exciting game drive across the endless savannah plains of the Mara. The reserve is known for its incredible concentration of wildlife and predator activity.

Wildlife you may encounter includes:

Lions and cheetahs
Elephants and buffalo
Zebras and giraffes
Wildebeest and antelopes
Hyenas and jackals

Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 02 :

Full Day Safari in Maasai Mara

Start the day early with a sunrise game drive, one of the best times to see predators returning from a night of hunting.

After breakfast, continue exploring the vast plains of Maasai Mara National Reserve, which forms part of the larger Serengeti ecosystem shared with Tanzania.

This day offers excellent chances to witness incredible wildlife interactions and predator activity.

If visiting between July and October, you may witness the spectacular Great Migration, where thousands of wildebeest cross the Mara River while crocodiles lie in wait.

Return to the lodge for lunch and relaxation.

Later in the afternoon, head out for another game drive across the golden savannah, searching for wildlife and enjoying the breathtaking African sunset.

Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 03 :

Optional Balloon Safari – Maasai Mara Exploration

Wake up early for an optional hot air balloon safari over the Maasai Mara plains (optional activity at extra cost). Floating above the savannah at sunrise offers a spectacular aerial view of wildlife and landscapes.

After landing, enjoy a champagne bush breakfast in the wilderness, a unique safari experience.

Later, continue with a morning game drive exploring different sections of the reserve, including areas near the famous Mara River, where dramatic wildlife encounters often occur.

In the afternoon, you may also visit a traditional Maasai village to learn about the culture, traditions, and lifestyle of the Maasai people.

Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 04 :

Morning Game Drive – Return to Nairobi

Enjoy a final early morning game drive in Maasai Mara National Reserve, giving you one last opportunity to see wildlife and capture stunning photographs of the African wilderness.

After breakfast, check out of the lodge and begin your journey back to Nairobi.

Arrive in Nairobi in the afternoon, marking the end of your 4-day Maasai Mara safari adventure.
